Which side do you want your child on?

Unfortunately the stupidity of anti-vaccination is showing up in our country, and the worst part is that it gets coverage on broadcast TV, with all the consequences that brings: the spread of a lie. Vaccines do not cause autism!

But Penn & Teller explain it better:

Vaccines do not cause autism; there is no evidence proving any kind of relationship between thimerosal and autism. It is all based on a fraudulent study carried out by Andrew Wakefield.

And yet this myth keeps spreading over the internet, even though a series of studies have been conducted that ruled out any kind of relationship between autism and vaccines.

Penn & Teller’s question is the relevant one: which side do you want your child on? On the side of those who don’t get vaccinated and can end up crippled by polio, or die of diphtheria? Vaccinate your child. Vaccines do not cause autism.

Ignorance kills.
