Sixth anniversary

On August 1, 2005 this site/blog began its “official broadcasts”, so it’s our anniversary: we turn six.

I am very happy and proud to keep this space going. Very few blogs from that era are still around; sadly, many quite interesting ones gradually “went dark” as their authors migrated to Twitter, where their ideas get lost in the noise of a tide of digital babble.

So I think this blog is one of a kind, and it keeps evolving, which surprises even me as its author. Over this past year its content has grown beyond what I expected, along with its two sister blogs and my foray into webcasting.

So I don’t know what the future holds for La Naturaleza Del Software, maybe exploring new media, and, as always, new topics.

Thank you, dear readers and friends. These six years have brought many changes in my life, but this blog has been a constant, probably a clock, or a compass that has taken me to alternate realities and let me learn a great many things, above all the ones you have contributed in your comments.

Thank you, and let’s celebrate!
