The perfect energy source

Nuclear fusion is probably the ideal form of energy: no toxic waste, no CO2 emissions, no radiation or radioactive waste. It is the mechanism that powers the stars, and very few fusion plants would probably be needed to supply the whole world’s energy. Who knows. But when?
