A simple test

If you have to hire software developers (we used to call them programmers, but sadly the term has lost some of its prestige), then I suggest you add this simple test to your hiring process:

“Write a program that prints the numbers from 1 to 100. But for multiples of three print “Fizz” instead of the number and for the multiples of five print “Buzz”. For numbers which are multiples of both three and five print “FizzBuzz”.

You will be surprised by the results.
