The state of the internet

An interesting video I came across through J.C. Camus’s blog, about the state of the Internet:

Note: remember that Americans, unlike the rest of the civilized world, have the bad habit of calling a thousand million a billion, and a million million a trillion. Yes, it’s a mess, but if the video were in scientific notation I don’t think it would make things any simpler. Anyway. They’re still very impressive figures, and nobody is capable of picturing them properly, so go ahead and be impressed:
