Goodbye, Pin Pón
Last November I took my 6-year-old daughter to meet Pin Pón. She knew the song that appears in Shrek, but she knew nothing about the character her father used to watch on TV when he was even younger than she is.

As you’ll see, Pin Pón could still captivate the little ones of the 21st century, with an ecological message, and a pretty entertaining one (for the kids and their parents, of course).
Jorge Guerra was an innovator. This is the first episode of Pin Pón, on Canal 13, in 1965! (I wasn’t born yet).
He used special effects that we only got to see again with characters like El Chapulín Colorado, in the late ’70s.
Jorge Guerra died today, of heart complications.
Goodbye, Pin Pón. We say farewell with sorrow.
