Christmas greeting (with legal disclaimer)

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Legal Disclaimer

Please accept my wishes without this implying any obligation or commitment whatsoever, implicit or explicit.
The Merry Christmas wishes I am sending do not imply, nor should they be understood as, religious proselytizing, each of the recipients of this greeting being absolutely free to enjoy said date under the practices and traditions of the religion they profess, or under the secular practices they wish, or under the religion or secular practices of others or, at their option, to engage in no religious or secular practice whatsoever.
The wishes for happiness and prosperity for the New Year are made assuming the calendar generally accepted in the Western hemisphere, but do not imply ignorance of the existence of other calendars or of the cultures that sustain them, which since pre-Hispanic times have made our country great (which does not necessarily imply that our country is greater than other countries in the region or in other parts of the world, which I say particularly for our Argentine, Bolivian, North American and Norwegian colleagues.
Said countries have been listed in alphabetical order, which does not imply any preference or animosity. The expression North American does not entail ignorance of the several countries in North America).
This greeting is made without distinction, exclusion or preference based on race, color, sex, age, marital status, union membership, religion, political opinion, nationality, national extraction or social origin, or any other consideration that could be understood as offensive or discriminatory.
By accepting this greeting, its terms shall also be accepted, indivisibly.
In any case, this greeting is subject to clarification or even withdrawal ipso iure by the undersigned, in whole or in part, without any prior notification or notice.
Likewise, this greeting is freely transferable, provided its original text is not altered and, in any case, without any further liability for the undersigned.
In the same way, this greeting implies no commitment or obligation whatsoever on the part of the undersigned to implement or assist in the fulfillment of the wishes each person may have, nor may it be understood as a form of participation, inducement or concealment, should anyone have wishes that are contrary to or prohibited by law and these come to pass.
This greeting shall have a term of one year and shall not be renewable, and shall therefore expire by operation of law on Christmas of the year 2009.
Likewise, it implies no guarantee whatsoever that the wishes and congratulations will actually come true, it being made clear that past happiness fluctuates, so nothing guarantees it will be repeated in the future.
It is emphasized that this Christmas greeting is granted out of mere liberality and does not constitute a precedent obliging its repetition in future years, whatever the circumstances in which the greeter and the greetee may find themselves. It should likewise be noted that any greetings that may be extended during the year, for birthdays or saints’ days, are made with no intent to novate the Christmas greeting, which remains unaltered throughout the Roman calendar year or whichever may replace it in the future.

Thanks to Sergio Miranda, who originally sent me this message. Enjoy the holidays, and ask Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men to make lawyers go extinct.
