Time

It’s my birthday. 41 years old, phew…

Twelve years ago, to celebrate my birthday, I went to this Alan Parsons concert in Santiago (where this video comes from). What remains of that show is this video of Time, a song that reminds us that the one thing we can’t stop is the passage of time.

The great part is finding more Alan Parsons videos, a side effect of preparing a post. The cool thing about this version of Sirius is that it was the first time AP played live, and with many of the original members (except Eric Woolfson, of course), a gift for fans like me:

Time
Alan Parsons Project

Time, flowing like a river
Time, beckoning me
Who knows when we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river
To the sea
Goodbye my love, Maybe for forever
Goodbye my love, The tide waits for me
Who knows when we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river (on and on)
To the sea, to the sea
Till it’s gone forever
Gone forever
Gone forevermore
Goodbye my friends, Maybe forever
Goodbye my friends, The stars wait for me
Who knows where we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river (on and on)
To the sea, to the sea
Till it’s gone forever
Gone forever
Gone forevermore
