Solving problems (1)
How do you tackle problems?
It seems a lot of people are unable to tackle problems, unable to solve them. That is the call to inaction:
“If the problem has a solution, worrying is no use, and if the problem has no solution, worrying is no use.”
(See Problematic sayings)
Some problems are so thorny that any solution can have bad consequences. For example, President Bachelet’s decision on Chile’s vote at the UN. The president decided to abstain. Did she dodge the problem? If she voted in favor she would be criticized, if she voted against she would be criticized, and for this abstention she will be criticized.
How would you have voted?
On this blog we’re going to start reflecting on how to solve problems, no easy task, but one that makes life interesting. See you around.
