Pay it no mind

They say Facundo Cabral once said:

The truth is I already explained that blogmemes and meneame have different design philosophies.

Menéame has positive and negative voting. Blogmemes has only positive voting.

Menéame has karma. Blogmemes has free will :)

The meneame community frowns on self-promotion. I don’t frown on it, but I don’t know what the blogmemes community will think.

Maybe many people don’t take part in blogmemes because they find it distasteful for someone to promote himself.

On that front I follow the remote control philosophy. Let me explain: if your cable provider offers a movie that offends you, change the channel, but don’t make a scene or demand that the movie be banned.

If you don’t like a story, don’t vote for it, don’t read it. As we say in Chile, “no la pesques”: pay it no mind.

And what about abuse? Well, that’s when we call in Melania, but that’s another story……
