It might look as if Francotirador were flogging himself, but he isn’t. The MPPCPDV campaign may not gather the 25,000 signatures, but it shows how important adhocracy in action can be.

The first Chilean Smart Mob was created out of this reaction to the government program, and Christian Leal is aware of his role as a leader and opinion shaper within the Chilean blogosphere.

It is not a failure at all, and I think they should keep going. I’m eager to read the proposal they put together for the government. These kids are true social entrepreneurs, and all of us older folks owe them respect.

I’m glad blog.perodeverdad was created, and I hope it serves to discuss how to narrow the technology gap that widens every day. I hope this moment turns out to be just the kickoff for a bigger movement, to get things done and move beyond talk.

Why not carry on with:

• Development, but for real
• A digital country, but for real

For now there are other challenges, like A laptop for every schoolchild, or sending a team to the 2006 IOI.
