Cool, naive or just plain stupid?

I don’t know if publishing your exact GPS location is cool. I, for one, think it’s risky.

For example, the site https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuWorldWide has a list of users with their physical address.

I’m not going to get into the paranoia of publishing my physical address and the fear of a visit from a burglar or a serial killer :).

The problem is that a hacker can do social engineering with that information. If you care about security, you shouldn’t publish these things, no matter how cool it is.
